KEY RESULT AREAS

Human Resources Director Job Responsibilities:
The leadership opportunity, with Infinity Learn – The fastest growing Edtech in India, a venture with ambitious plans, would be expected to create a culture for the organization right from the start. This would be in co-ordination with the Management and the leadership team and would be a conscious effort towards building the very foundation on which the organization would be built. As an Edtech we target to create an unparalleled attention to “Powering Learners’ for Success” and would need innovative approach to create a very distinct culture. This role would be the custodian of that and would be responsible for inculcating the fundamental behaviours in the organization.

Human Resources Director Job Duties:
  • Develops organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information,
analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction; establishing human resources
objectives in line with organizational objectives
  • The role is expected to understand the challenges of fast growing organizations and be able to come up with a
plan to ensure employee satisfaction by continuous engagement. It is also expected that this role evolves itself
over a period of time as the organization grows and moves from a start-up stage to a more mature state.
  • Implements human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition,
staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records
management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, Payroll & Statutory
compliance.
  • Manages human resources operations by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counselling, and
disciplining staff; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing staff job contributions; maintaining compensation;
determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies; designing systems; accumulating
resources; resolving problems; implementing change.
  • Develops human resources operations financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements,
trends, and variances; aligning monetary resources; developing action plans; measuring and analysing results;
initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.
  • Accomplishes special project results by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities; communicating and
coordinating requirements; expediting fulfilment; evaluating milestone accomplishments; evaluating optional
courses of action; changing assumptions and direction.
  • Supports management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions; analysing information and
applications.
  • Guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures,
methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values.
  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different
requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
The successful Head of HR will have an entrepreneurial mindset, a proven fast track record and will combine a diverse set of
functions:
  • Top tier business school graduate (Masters in Human Resource Management is must) with 12-14 years of total
experience. Experience of working in India and in a start-up environment is a strong plus.
  • An understanding of the digital space will be an advantage although not mandatory
  • Technology appreciation across web based systems and mobile
  • Proven capability of having effectively managed the function and creating a positive impact
  • Hands-on approach and strong execution skills
  • Have strong risk orientation and ability to deal with ambiguity; ability to think through and act on different options
  • Be hard-working and diligent, discipline to convert strategy into action
  • Ability to work with an organization at different stages of growth and mould one’s approach according to the need.
