15 Petabyte of data hosted, 49 countries supported, 15000 servers and thousands of devices to connect locations and businesses.

The role focuses on managing the requirements for the key data products that create a business value across Novartis. This includes developing the Enterprise strategy for data products, building a roadmap to deliver the products, working with the data products team people leader to design the requirements based on the inputs from Enterprise Data Owner requirements and managing the development in partnership with the data delivery lead.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Develops a strategic roadmap for data products in alignment with delivering the enterprise data strategy. This involves in charge of new product development, business justification, planning, quality, forecasting, pricing, launch and marketing for all data products.

• Drives strategy and implementation of defined product and services, to further the agenda of enterprise data management, data democratization incl. establishing governance models as needed

• Defines and communicates the product vision and roadmap, and is a strong communicator that can champion the product\'s value to the businesses, EDOs and leadership

• Global product owner for all the data products that EDM team creates and publishes in the organization; is responsible for ensuring that enterprise standards and governance are applied consistently on the data products

• Makes decisions on the product based on customer needs, business value, and feasibility and works with the platforms and architecture teams to design and develop the solution and is accountable for product delivery and customer adoption

• Manages the data product demand and design requirements; ensure products are built, managed and industrialized to meet business needs and deliver ongoing value.

• Defines the capabilities, designs the features and develops the product roadmap and understands the tasks and requirements of data management and designs products that drive data excellence.

• Ensures the products are available to create solutions for domains/ EDO\'s / business and to report progress on data products to all senior leadership stakeholders

Minimum requirements

What you\'ll bring to the role:

• 15+ years of relevant experience in Data product Strategy, with at least 2 years in Pharma/Healthcare
• In-depth experience of data/information management practices, systems and processes including information lifecycle management, data modelling, master data management, meta-data management
• Experience with large-scale data or program management and oversight
• Ability to build strong relationships across a broad network of stakeholders to embed the strategy and adoption of enterprise data governance and lifecycle management processes
• Experience leading teams in data technology and database technology management roles
• Hands on experience with product management , preferably data products (such as data quality, Master data etc)
• Experience with data related platforms and products (such as AWS, Google etc) with experience designing, deploying and operating products in a complex and fast changing environment
• Excellent conceptual grasp of complex enterprise IT architecture and landscape and proven aptitude for innovation
