: Job Title Director Cloud Architecture A senior leader working in Cloud Center of Excellence driving the agenda for Workplace Investing in the cloud acceleration and adoption space working with a team of Cloud engineers. The Purpose of This Role As Director Cloud Architecture you will work within Workplace Investments Cloud Centre of Excellence (WI Cloud CoE) team accelerating Fidelity\'s journey to the cloud. You will work with Enterprise Cloud Committee [ECC], Cloud Service Partners such as Azure, AWS and Fidelity business partners building exceptional cloud capabilities to accelerate their velocity of value using cloud native technologies. This role is focused on enablement of cloud services and delivery, which requires a combination of both strong technical and influencing skills, as well as participation in architecture, design, and analysis activities. You will be responsible for driving the POC[Proof of Concept] and implementation of many of the cloud services as a horizontal supporting multiple teams and products across WI. The Value You Deliver Extensive experience working in public cloud such as Azure and AWS. Hands on experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment [CICD] Strong technical leadership and ability to mentor other members within your team. Excellent presentation, documentation, communication and influencing skills, as well as skills which present/influence technology direction in business context to our partners. Very strong technical capability to learn and adjust to new technologies and cloud trends. Outstanding mentoring and coaching skills and shown expertise developing cloud talent. The Skills that are Key to this role Experience building Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Service Bus, Azure SQL MI, Azure Storage, Azure Redis Cache, Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory, Azure Event Hub, ARM template. Experience in building resilient cloud architecture, site reliability engineering and exposure to Observability. Outstanding experience or certification in Cloud Computing, with Azure preferred. Strong understanding across cloud infrastructure components (server, storage, network, data, and applications) to deliver end to end Cloud based architecture and solution. Experience in AWS services technologies and practices, building applications using services such as AWS EC2, EKS, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, Cloud Formation. Deep understanding of well architected framework implementation in Enterprises: Operation excellent, Security, reliability, performance efficiency and cost optimization. Experience with web, event driven, caching, batch architectures, crafting systems for high efficiency, low latency, high availability, and fault tolerance. Experience with performance analysis and tuning. Technical / Behavioral Able to lead a team of engineers and mentor them to deliver for the key cloud services backlog and help multiple teams adopt the services being created. Positive presentation skills: written and verbal communication including the ability to influence. Good leadership skills including stakeholder management, strong sense of working with teams and ability to work in large programs. A strong team player who is always willing to use team first approach and build strong relationships with people and work together to achieve the defined the goals. The Skills that are Good To Have for this role Good to have skills in programming languages which include Java and Python Azure experience is a must but AWS exposure can be limited to few services.
