Job Purpose and Impact The OT (Ocean Transportation) Digitalization Analyst will participate in the transformation of our vessel operations activities. As the shipping industry is quickly evolving and facing greater challenges and complexity (regulation, decarbonization, market volatility), Cargill sees as strategic to enhance the end-to-end data, processes and tools that will allow to maintain best-in-class performance and execution in this space. The Digitalization Analyst will ensure we successfully and timely deliver on the transformation roadmap and create tangible value to the operations department. In this role, you will identify the opportunities, contribute to the prioritization, and drive the implementation of concrete solutions that will solve current business pain points as well as paving the way to new opportunities (optimization, competitive edge, commercial insights). Key Accountabilities Validate and regularly update the transformation roadmap, depending on changes from the business, the external environment, and new technology opportunities. Grasp current limitations and pain points, thanks to fine understanding of the operations domain and deep interactions with vessel operators, laytime specialists, safety officers, technical team, claim managers. Identify actionable steps to execute on the long-term plan: create or source new datasets and digital tools. Compare solutions in terms of cost, time, effort, capabilities, value capture, through a global OT lens (ie. including cross-function benefits to other teams like Trading, Finance, Risk management) Produce precise requirements with respect to use cases, data needed, functionalities required, expected timelines. Interact with the OT central data team, application development teams and external software vendors to select and deploy the most suited solution. Communicate progress to the operations provide training and documentation on new selected or developed solutions monitor impact and user adoption. Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor\'s degree in a related field or equivalent experience Experience in project management, project delivery process and portfolio management Minimum of two years of related work experience Other minimum qualifications may apply PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience in the shipping industry (Operations) Product or project management certification Experience leading change and communication with a large and diverse group of stakeholders Clear understanding of agile values, frameworks and metrics
