Job Discription Minimum of 4 years\' experience in security consulting, management or similar. Hands-on experience of security technologies like SIEM, EDR, XDR, TIP, VMS will be preferred. Excellent technical skills for building security architecture aligned with the business\'s requirements. Strong computer coding and endpoint security skills. Hands-on experience in SOC review, maturity assessment, creating a roadmap, strategy, etc. Strong documentation and presentation skills. Great communication skills and the ability to present technical jargon in an understandable way. Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills. A highly logical, honest, and objective nature. Good teamwork and time management skills. Responsibilities 4+ years of experience in Cyber Security domain and hand on experience working in SOC environment Strong understanding and hands-on experience of security operations best practices and methodologies, including knowledge of security tools and technologies such as Microsoft Sentinel, Qradar, or other SIEM technology and EDRs. Identifies security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities of networks, systems, applications, and new technology initiatives and the need for detection and protection controls in place Running risk assessment and security tests and designing countermeasures to eliminate as many potential risks as possible. Perform/Drive SOC Maturity Assessment/GAP assessments and provide recommendations for improvement. Create Short term and long-term SOC roadmap and strategy documents and PPTs for clients Evaluate current SOC standards and procedures and update or author new content as required. Should be able to perform SOC/SIEM use case testing wrt leading frameworks like MITRE, kill chain, and NIST and provide recommendations. Suggest improvements to existing security systems. Should have excellent written and communication skills and have the ability to present findings to senior management Remaining up to date with the latest security systems, tools, trends, and technology.
