JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:



Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments on systems, networks, and applications to identify potential security weaknesses.
Utilize industry-standard tools and methodologies to perform penetration testing and vulnerability scanning.
Analyze the results of vulnerability assessments and provide detailed reports, including recommended remediation strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and address vulnerabilities based on risk levels and potential impact.
Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, tools, and techniques to enhance vulnerability assessment testing methodologies.
Provide guidance and recommendations on security best practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and enhance overall security posture.
Participate in incident response activities, including identifying and investigating potential security incidents and recommending appropriate countermeasures.
Assist in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and standards.




Requirements:



Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience in vulnerability assessment testing and penetration testing.
In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, protocols, and best practices.
Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools, such as Nessus, OpenVAS, or Qualys.
Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and web application architectures.
Proficient in scripting and programming languages commonly used in vulnerability testing (e.g., Python, Bash).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and assess risks effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
