Job Title: Tech in Mergers and Acquisitions Location: Bangalore Notice Period: Immediate Joiners The M&A professional is responsible for gaining an understanding of the business change needs in relation to the IT pre deal, IT divestment and integration projects. Further, you will be responsible for identifying synergies, overall integration architecture, business process design, solutions, systems, and technology architecture. You will lead the overall solution delivery across workstreams on complex initiatives enterprise systems and processes. You will play a pivotal role, guiding cross functional teams of internal and external resources. ACCOUNTABILITY/ EXPECTATIONS Deep understanding of IT, as well as IT\'s role in enabling business processes and growth Strong understanding of IT due diligence, pre-Day 1 planning, Day 1 and cutover planning/ execution, post Day 1 planning/ execution, synergy identification/ realization, inter-dependency mapping, understanding of TSA\'s and other post deal M&A activities. Understanding and knowledge of: ERP -SAP, Oracle, M 365 etc. Business applications - CRM, HRMS, Sales systems, middleware, custom built solutions, Active Directory, SaaS offerings etc. Infrastructure and Security - Data Center, Networks, Storage, Compute, Servers, Cloud hosting (private/ public/ hybrid), End user computing etc. Governance and Support models - Outsourcing models, IT Operating model, IT financial management, IT delivery models etc. Understanding of target\'s current IT environment and identify gaps and opportunities to develop a future state IT architecture in partnership with the IT M&A team, Enterprise Architecture, and capability teams Identify synergies and proactively manage acquisition priorities and drive integration design reviews and discussions with IT and Business stakeholders Using a consultative approach, partner with business and IT workstream leads to run the acquisition integration analysis, create acquisition integration solution blueprints and execution roadmaps Research and determine best solutions for architecture standards, software, and tools- after aligning the gaps and requirements with the leadership Experiencing in developing policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure a future state technology landscape Lead solution design sessions with business partners, system integration suppliers, and other IT teams, translating business rules into requirements and designs. Experience in concept note, approach note and proposal development in M&A Technology related service offerings Ability to create presentations to a target audience with varied levels of technical capabilities / awareness Provides the overall technical and business architectural direction for the portfolio, program, and functional areas QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 4-6 years of relevant experience Bachelor\'s Degree in computer science, information systems or related field Master\'s degree (MBA/ PGDM) in related filed Experience with Digital transformation/ Digital Strategy/ Emerging technology Decent experience with separation/ divestment IT due diligence projects Previous role in complex / large delivery projects, preferably within IT portfolio TYPICAL INTERACTIONS Interactions include but are not limited to: Key stakeholders involved in deciding enterprise architecture Office of CIO/ CTO/ Digital product IT project and product management groups External IT management and consultants Employee experience/ process improvement leads Implementation partners/ vendors Local Business Focal Counterparty IT focal point IT assurance and support partners, including SOM, Supportability, Procurement, Finance, etc. Deal implementation leads ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Must exhibit excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Able to manage conflicting demands and changing priorities. Demonstrate Commercial Awareness Ability to manage own counsel in relation to project confidentiality Enjoy the challenges which will arise within a changing portfolio team Ability to partner with multiple stakeholders and influence project decisions Strong leadership and negotiation skills with business and technical groups Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Skilled in running design thinking workshops.
