Job Description
We are seeking to add a Digital Pathology Clinical Coordinator/ Specialist to our India operations. In this role, you will supervise and support the digitization efforts of large-scale cancer histology workloads. You will be working on a variety of projects across several leading health organizations and prepare high-quality scans of microscope slides containing tissue sections for pathology review. Ideal candidates will have high attention to detail, strong Excel skills, is very organized, and drive to learn and grow with the department and company.
Responsibilities
- Organize and QC stained tissue slides
- Barcode and file stained slides and paperwork
- Review the schedule of priorities and adjust workflow accordingly
- Enter specimen testing results into Excel spreadsheets
- Update project trackers
- Clean slides and load into whole slide scanners
- Perform a QC check of scanned slides to ensure the tissue is in focus
- Upload scans to database
- File slides and paperwork
- Troubleshoot scanners and software
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related science field preferred
- Pathology, histology, molecular biology or similar laboratory experience preferred
- High attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel and other Office programs
