KRA1 PACKING
To ensure availability of Silo and finished product in suitable packing mode as per logistics despatch plan. To make available all the resources for packing.
Planning for packing as per silo and despatch requirements.
Ensuring availability of silos in co-ordination with Production & logistics departme
nt.
Advance planning for packing material for submission to packing purchase material pla
nning committee.
Auto Packer`s calliberation to avoid Weight variation.
Packing in clean & undamaged bags.
Packaging material inspection & improved design modification.
KRA10 Energy Management -Ensuring that reports on the performance of EnMS management system are presented to Top Management for review and as a basis for improvement of the energy management system including promotion of energy policy guidelines and objectives.
-Ensuring training on EnMS to concerned
-Keeping abreast of changing legal and interested party requirements and communication of the same to all concerned.
-Coordination with DH (E&I) & SH (IR& Admn) for evaluating compliance with the legal and other requirements and presenting to management for review.
-Conducting periodic management reviews as per prescribed agenda which is to be supported by required inputs for consideration of the top management.
-Communicating of changes if any about the concerns of interested parties.
-Review the EnMS to ensure continuing suitability, adequacy and effectiveness of EnMS
-Co-ordinate nomination of management personnel to external programs.
KRA2 DESPATCH
To ensure availability of resources for timely loading of trucks for despatch to vari
ous customers and destinations for meeting customer requirements. To monitor and control truck checking as per suitability of loading requirement and s
afe transit of packed carbon black.
To monitor and control clean bags and correct weighment of bags in trucks.
To manage availability of carbon black for despatch as per customer specific packing
requirements.
To monitor and control loading of trucks within stipulated time frame to comply with
excise regulations .
Special precautions in Export material handling.
KRA3 STORAGE OF FINISHED GOODS
To ensure safe storage of finished product in warehouse with no deviation in physical
& booked stock. To plan and monitor stacking of finished products in warehouse for smooth retrieval.
To arrange for segregation of non-conforming product & keeping in separate identified
area.
To establish & monitor safe practices for damage free storage and handling of finishe
d goods in operator friendly working environment.
KRA4 Annual S/Dn./B./ Dn./ Major repair To help Prodn. Dept. from time to time as per their requirement.
KRA5 COST CONTROL
To meet budgeted packing cost by planning and control for reduction in wastage and manpower deployment. Manpower planning & deployment.
To negotiate rate contract with 4 contractors from time to time and approval of their bills.
To monitor wastage and develop measures for waste control.
To monitor and control proper use of packing material , develop new design indigenous
bags on low costs & low inventory.
To reduce Truck detention charges by better planning & coordinated action with Logis
tics.
KRA6 Customer Satisfaction
Initiating proactively corrective & preventive actions to attain Zero customer compla
ints on packaging.
Enhancing company image through improved customer satisfaction related to packaging a
ctivities. Evolving suitable preventive measures for safe packing, storage, handling & loading of carbon black.
Analyzing customer complaints on packaging and deriving corrective / preventive actions to avoid recurrence / elemination through FMEA.
Providing assistance to FLO s for implementing corrective / preventive actions and mo
nitoring the performance.
Directing and ensuring fulfillment of customer specific requirements on packaging and
delivery.
Optimising supply network through effective logistic, reengineering & capacity mana
gement.
KRA7 SYSTEM MANAGEMENT
Maintaining job related systems to fulfill the requirements of International standard
s (ISO/TS 16949, ISO 50001, SA 8000, ISO-14001, and OHSAS-18001 & WCM) for achieving T
QM.
Legal compliance. To plan for system procedures and work instructions and formates for easy working and
common understanding down the line.
Monitoring the performance against set procedures and systems and bringing about cont
inual improvements in all relevant areas.
Training the employees from time to time for upgrading their upgraded knowledge , ski
lls & competency.
To participate in all 6 management review & Kaizen evaluation meetings.
Conducting internal audits as per system requirements.
To initiate actions on NCR raised during systems audit by internal / external auditor
s ensuring compliance to system requirement.
To fulfil legal requirements of Pollution, Weight & Measurements & Packing liscences.
And reconcillation of packed bags with excise dept..
KRA8 SAFETY & HOUSE KEEPING
To ensure compliance to safety standards and maintaining good house keeping in wareho
use. To plan and provide PPE s to employees.
To plan and ensure compliance to safe Carbon Black handling procedures.
To maintain 5-S in warehouse.
To monitor SPM, RPM& PPM level in packing & warehouse.
To monitor proper LUX requirements in W. H.
To monitor emmission level of FORK LIFT.
-Follow the rules, regulations, policies and standards of the site.
-Be willing to stop any job over safety concerns
-Alert supervisors and managers to observations that could present a risk
-Actively participate in training and contribute to the discussion
KRA9 Development of employees
Identifying employee developmental needs and arranging for training to improve their
upgraded skill , knowledge, competency and bringing change in mind set & attitude. Sharing of all information with subordinates.
Delegating responsibility to subordinates to execute for executing packing & despat
ch activities as per planning with optimise resources.
Involving subordinates & contractor labours to share their problems & give suggestion
s to improve departmental working.
Team building through motivation and involvement of employees for the benefit of the
