Sugar CosmeticsJob Role: AWS Cloud / DevOps Engineer The AWS Cloud / DevOps Engineer will be working with the engineering team and focusing on AWS infrastructure and automation. A key part of the role is championing and leading infrastructure as code. The Engineer will work closely with the Manager of Operations and DevOps to build manage and automate our AWS infrastructure. Roles & Responsibilities ? Deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of AWS cloud-based production system. ? Ensuring availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS production systems. ? Work collaboratively with software engineering to define infrastructure and deployment requirements. ? Management of creation, release, and configuration of production systems. ? Evaluation of new technology alternatives and vendor products. ? System troubleshooting and problem resolution across various application domains and platforms. ? Provision of critical system security by leveraging best practices and prolific cloud security solutions. ? Providing recommendations for architecture and process improvements. ? Definition and deployment of systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring on AWS platform. ? Designing, maintenance and management of tools for automation of different operational processes. ? Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline). ? Perform infrastructure cost analysis and optimization. Qualifications ? 2-4 years of experience building and maintaining AWS infrastructure (VPC, EC2, Security Groups, IAM, ECS, CodeDeploy, CloudFront, S3). ? Solid foundation of networking and Linux administration. ? Knowledge of IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing and firewall. ? Strong understanding of how to secure AWS environments and meet compliance requirements. ? Experience with Docker, GitHub, Jenkins, ELK and deploying applications on AWS. ? Ability to learn/use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools. ? Strong bias for action and ownershipJob Type: Full-timeSalary: ?500,000.00 - ?800,000.00 per yearSchedule:
