• As a DevOps Engineer, the candidate must have experience in an agile environment/process, supporting application developer and tester's environment needs, using proven technologies or solutions. In addition, the candidate should have the knowledge to deploy, maintain and operate scalable and fault-tolerant systems, both on-premise and in the Cloud.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in the project planning processes, identifying operational requirements, and providing realistic timelines.
• Provide guidance and expertise on system/infrastructure setup and operational requirements for development, test, and production environments.
• Build automated deployments using configuration management (CI/CD) solutions and ensure components/applications are production-ready.
• Develop/document ongoing routine maintenance tasks to ensure application's optimal performance, user guide for 1st level support, and assist in the production support.
• Perform system/server administration to ensure that the infrastructure will run efficiently through daily monitoring and regular system/security update. This includes administering the underlying subsystems/applications and integration services
• Assist in the development of a disaster recovery plan, including reliable backup and restore procedures. Work with vendors to escalate, resolve problems and develop solutions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Have a good understanding of, or preferably be ITIL Foundation certified. Another IT-related certification is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, customer focus, and ability to work with both technical and non-technical people.
• Strong attention to detail with good analytical thinking in resolving problems and documenting solutions.
• Must be flexible and able to adapt to rotating work shifts, including the rendering of overtime when needed.
• Ability to work proactively and independently, and as part of a team, provide support to other team members when required.
• Familiarity in system integration, with 3-5 years of combined experience with the following technologies/solutions:
• Cloud Solutions using GCP, AWS, or Azure
• Microservices and/or container solutions/technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD
• Web technologies such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, XML, APIs, SOAP/REST frameworks
• Database Administration using MySQL, MSSQL, DB2, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MariaDB
• Scripting using shell and Perl, PHP
• Web/Application Servers: Apache/Tomcat, Nginx
• Server Administration & Virtualization: Unix OS, Mac OS, Windows OS, VMWare, Clustering, HA solutions
• Web security such as encryption/HTTPS, Two-Factor authentication/OTP, RBAC, WAF
• Basic knowledge in troubleshooting network connections and network administration
