We\'re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to:

• design, develop, and improve the digital products and technology services we provide to our clients and employees
• apply a broad range of software engineering practices, from analyzing user needs and developing new features to automated testing and deployment
• ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements
• contribute to frequent releases that improve our digital products and technology services
• build observability into our solutions, monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues
• understand, represent, and advocate for client needs
• share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, help with hiring, and contribute regularly to our engineering culture and internal communities

Your team

In our Agile@UBS working model, streams, crews are aligned to large products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods. You\'ll be part of the Managing Investment Stream and Alternative crew pods in Pune and working collaboratively with colleagues across the globe.

Your expertise

• excellent core os skills (eg. unix/linux/windows) with industry standard scripting skills, eg. shell scripting, powershell, python.
• devops tools (gitlab, azure devops, nexus) and practical experience with all phases of modern devops pipeline
• devops pipelines in ado/ gitlab, infra as a code with arm / terraform - 3+ years
• azure cloud infrastructure, including kubernetes and network protocols & security - 3+ years
• hands on experience of middleware technologies, deployment automation along with extensive exposure on devops concepts, its implementation and understanding of it production support of application deployment tools.
• experience with cloud and on-prem deployment techniques, monitoring tools such as appdynamics and splunk.
• experience if infrastructure as a code implementation patterns, compliance and security.
