The Impact: We are seeking a bright, self-motivated DevOps Engineer to join our Engineering team. The DevOps Engineer is responsible for hands-on build-out, configuration, deploy, scale, orchestration and monitoring in supporting infrastructure and our release pipeline for global commercial software platforms. Candidate must be comfortable in driving Continuous Integration / Deployment initiatives in the cloud. An ideal candidate would have process automation skills using RPA technologies and tools in the financial services sector. You will interface with various business units in the planning of major functionality, analyzing business functional requirements to determine the scope of work, evaluating available application alternatives to support business needs Responsibilities: Automate and streamlining of our infrastructure, operations and deployment processes. Must have excellent knowledge of \'infrastructure as code\'. Tools and automation-based monitoring of production environments to provide proactive alerts on system health and reliability. Good knowledge of SQL Server setup and administration Good background in Windows administration. Expert background in AWS administration. Troubleshooting and resolving root cause issues in our dev, test and production internal and cloud environments. Team member role in on-time, high quality delivery of products thru the entire application lifecycle. Take initiative and work independently on certain projects, while contributing to a large team on others. What We\'re Looking For: 7+ years of experience building enterprise DevOps pipelines in a commercial environment (still hands on) Experience with using Git Expert in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery using Tools such as GitLab, Azure DevOps, CodeBuild or similar Deep knowledge of AWS Services including: ECS/Fargate/ECR S3, Lambda VPC, Route 53 RDS EC2, Load Balancing CloudWatch, CloudFront Proven history of DevOps in AWS Good understanding of networking Experienced in at least one scripting language such as Python, Bash, JavaScript, PowerShell, etc. Experienced in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation or similar Experienced in Configuration Management tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet or similar Containerization and Orchestration Database setup and administration Personal competencies Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills. Commitment to producing quality work in a timely manner. Must be confident, articulate and fast learner Willing to progress in an exciting, fast paced environment Self-starter with a natural curiosity to learn and develop capabilities. Strong oral and written communication skills Interpersonal skills and ability to work cooperatively with cross functional teams.
