Job Description

Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure VM, AKS Permanent work from home Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Terraform for automated provisioning and management of Azure resources. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) : Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Services or similar tools to automate application builds, tests, and deployments. Environment Management : Create and manage development, staging, and production environments in Azure, ensuring consistency and scalability across environments. Monitoring and Automation : Set up and configure Azure Monitor and Azure Automation to proactively monitor and respond to system alerts, ensuring high availability and performance. Security and Compliance : Implement Azure security best practices, configure Azure Identity and Access Management (IAM), and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. The Successful Applicant Azure Proficiency : Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, and Azure SQL Database. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Proficiency in writing and maintaining infrastructure as code (ARM templates or Terraform) for Azure resource provisioning. CI/CD Tools : Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD for automated build and deployment processes. Scripting and Automation : Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automating Azure tasks and management. Security and Compliance : Familiarity with Azure security features, identity and access management (IAM), and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR). Networking : Knowledge of Azure networking concepts, Virtual Networks (VNets), ExpressRoute, and Azure Firewall. Containerization : Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Monitoring and Logging : Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, and experience with setting up custom monitoring and alerting. Collaboration and Communication : Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Certifications : Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer) are a plus and demonstrate a commitment to Azure expertise.
