What you\'ll do:

In your role as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineering, you will be responsible to develop concepts and automation to seamlessly introduce new technology components and help to advance our technology stack as we keep adding customers and additional capabilities. S/4HANA Public Cloud is the backbone of our customer\'s digital transformation and mission critical for their business success. This requires us to develop enhanced solutions delivering a zero downtime operations experience for our consumers.

We are looking for an experienced cloud technologist with knowledge in the areas of infrastructure as a service, platform operations, software engineering and technology architecture. You will be responsible for desining and continuously improving our technology foundation. Time to service is crucial for us when introducing innovation to maintain a high degree of operational excellence.

What you bring:

You are passionate about reliability and efficiency and love to work in global, complex and fast growing environments. Your friendly, open and creative personality paired with service-orientation and a can-do attitude qualify you as superior team player. You combine your technical expertise with excellent communication skills including presentations in front of senior executive leadership team members.

The ideal candidate brings:

• 4+ years of experience in development/engineering or technical operations role
• experience in DevOps or SRE job roles
• high proficiency with SAP Basis NetWeaver, ABAP & BTP Architecture
• experience in working with Kubernetes (certification is a plus) and service oriented architectures
• experience in developing SPC procedures will be a benefit
• knowledge about Multi-Cloud landscapes (at least 1 or 2 of the following IaaS providers: Azure, GCP, AWS, AliCloud, SAP Cloud, Cloud Foundry (PaaS)) (certification is a plus)
• out of the box thinking and willingness to make the impossible possible
• proven track record in executing high-impact initiatives on senior executive and board level
• excellent understanding of SAP\'s overall strategy as well as product strategy

Embedded into S/4HANA Product Engineering, SRE is working hand in hand with product development, cloud operations and our customer success teams. Our mission is to define and drive reliability objectives in order to prevent incidents before they happen. We are defining the technology architecture as the foundation on which we build and run SAP\'s Cloud ERP solutions globally. To delivery at high quality, massive scale and low cost, automation is key to us as. Besides using modern technology we as well leverage practices like chaos engineering to identify weak points, reliability risks and areas for improvement.
