Software Developer
The Software Developer job assists with the software design and development for the support of enterprise-wide business intelligence applications and architecture for the purpose of directing and managing data to support business operations. Under close supervision, this job helps build the software applications and programs, based on internal and external data structure, and works with enterprise-wide business and information technology functions to understand and prioritize data and information requirements.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Supports the development, implementation and configuration of software development programs and applications to support data driven decision making across the organization.
• Works to optimize the performance of enterprise software programs and applications by using business requirements to filter and index data for the user.
• Assists with drafting the testing methodology and criteria to guide software development implementation for business intelligence integrations.
• Helps develop standards, policies and procedures for the form, structure and attributes of information technology tools to support business intelligence analysis and reporting.
• Performs research to aid in the development of data and information quality metrics to ensure accurate and relevant software processes and results.
• Helps draft and prepare a curriculum for coaching and training customers in the use of software development tools to enhance business intelligence decision-making capability.
• Researches new technology and assists in the development of business cases to support software development of application and programs.
