We’re looking for a Development Engineer – Software who’ll be responsible to form a team tailored for a specific mission. You contribute to fast realization of prototypes as well as effective product development, by applying deep engineering knowledge of the most relevant coding platforms and standards, in combination with proven Agile collaboration methods and test-driven development.
You’ll be part of the Signify Mobile application R&D Team in Bangalore and its responsibilities are developing data enabled. Innovation and passion for technology must be in your DNA.
What you’ll do

• Together with S/W architect, review the architecture & create the technical design needed for implementation
• you'll prototype and develop exciting new data enabled propositions
• you'll focus on developing high quality software that is easy to maintain
• you'll work in a small Agile team, collaborating on all development aspects to get things done
• you'll collaborate with developers from other teams across Signify to enable cross segment propositions

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience in product development as Cloud Software Developer
• Building data-intensive applications and pipelines, that involve concepts like ETL.
• Demonstrates capabilities in build cloud native solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS/GCP/Azure.
• Demonstrates design skills in making choices about cloud services such as AWS DynamoDB, AWS Kinesis, AWS Lambda and rationale for making those choices.
• Has practical experience stitching together various AWS cloud services (or equivalent in GCP/Azure).
• Can showcase Monitoring and Observability of application and services.
• Has hands-on experience with containers and how to orchestrate them with Cloud Services
• Has hands-on experience in managing cloud infrastructure (Infrastructure-as-Code) using tools like Terraform.
• Ability to efficiently integrate with APIs.
• Demonstrates capabilities in API Design.
  Has demonstrated ownership for features and modules in their projects including feature and module design, practices such as code reviews, unit tests, code coverage and build sanity.
• Has integrated with databases such as Postgres/MySQL. Good to have - practical experience with NoSQL databases.
