ByDesign Product development stack is now going to be completely managed by a partner and we will have a governance team at SAP as part of its overall accountability to ensure the product is meeting contractual & product standard needs. This role of development & security architect will govern with the counterpart at partner side on defining and validating Security & Product Architecture decisions for ByD Product and is responsible to ensure that the product is delivered adhering to the SAP Product & Security Standards. Roles & Responsibilities . Review, Support and guide partner teams with respect to architecture concepts/guidance in assigned Areas . As as security architect, ensuring the following Provide in depth knowhow of technical and functional architecture of the topics delivered in the unit with additional focus on Security Architecture (viz., secure software development and operations life cycle and related processes) Advocate SAP Secure Programming Guidelines to the Partner Development team Drive and ensure the compliance to Security and Data Protection & Privacy guidelines Moderate the Threat Modelling Workshops and Data Protection Compliance Evaluation Workshops as necessary. Own the content of DPP testcases and audit/assurance of mandatory execution of Security Tests during the MIT phase Coordinate with central SAP security teams to be upto date on Security Requirements and roll-in to teams . As as development architect, ensuring the following Contribute to the team spirit by supporting an environment of continuous learning, exchanging of ideas & thoughts and embracing a culture of innovation Participate and mentor partner teams in managing customer escalations and help manage customer expectations Define, Plan and Validate sufficient steps to ensure partner team complies with Development, Security, Compliance Standards, Processes as per SAP guidelines Experience Requirements : General Expertise Proficient in ABAP, ABAP OO, SAP UI5 Broad and sufficiently deep knowledge (or willingness to deep dive by own) Security Architecture - preferably Certification/Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements for IT Security (e.g. ISO 27001, SOC1, SOC2) Knowledge of Security tools & techniques- static & dynamic scan, open source security, threat modeling, data privacy & protection, security tests, security validation, penetration tests etc. Expertise in domain - Technical Domains ( one ore more areas of DB Concepts & SQLs, Identity and Access Management, GDPR, Business Configuration, Master Data Management, Analytics, Integration, Forms, Output Management, UI (Desktop & Mobile), BTM & Workflows, Mass Data Handling & Parallel Processing, Machine Learning) Agile Development: Have a solid understanding in Agile Development, i.e., Scrum, JIRA, Continuous Integration and DevOps concepts Good insight into Cloud Qualities like Observability, Resilience, Security, Availability, Automation, Supportability with deeper understanding in Performance, TCO, multi-tenancy.
