JOB DESCRIPTION With some direction, provide direct technical support to computer system users Answer compex and difficult to resolve computer problems for clients Provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, VPN connectivity, electronic mail and operating systems. Provide desk side support and training for end users. Job Qualification Education and Experience:6 years in PC hardware/software installation and supportHigh school diploma, GCSEs including Mathematics, or equivalentSuccessful completion of vocational course(s) relating to computer systemsor equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provide the individual with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, PC hardware and desktop application products.The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues on a desktop platform.Strong customer service communication skills.Must be able to multi task and pay close attention to detail.
