Job Title- Desktop Release & Deployment Specialist, AVP Location- Pune Role Description The Media Distribution and Meeting Rooms team is responsible for the architecture, design, engineering, testing and 3rd line support of Audio Visual Services, which are provided for all divisions and subsidiaries of Deutsche Bank, globally. The role is responsible for design of custom spaces including Auditoriums, Town Hall/Divisible Rooms and Studios utilizing standard approved products within the bank. Your key responsibilities Covered as part of the role description and key responsibilities would be part of the same and will be decided based on the current business/functional need and expect the candidate to be flexible and adaptable with a willingness and ability to scale up.
  • Looking for a AVP level candidate with minimum of 5 years of relevant/equivalent IT experience in software deployment and release management
  • A suitable candidate should be comfortable in handling deployments at a large scale of more than 100k active windows clients
  • Supporting timely and diligent update of software/patches, software deployment and uninstallation of legacy/old software versions.
  • The candidate should have excellent communication skills, a client centric approach and should be able to collaborate with several teams globally.
  • Strive for continuous service improvement (CSI), challenging the status quo and contribute towards automation/optimization of the existing processes.
  • He/she needs to follow the processes diligently, be a team player and ensure best quality in implementation and good at time management and tracking multiple tasks
  • Need to document the process improvements/enhancements and best practices, learn, enhance and share knowledge.
Your skills and experience
  • He/she should be well versed with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager based release and deployment activities including application deployment and security patching
  • Good understanding of Config Manager deployment environment including configuration and setup. Knowledge of Intune can be an added advantage.
  • He/she needs to be able to handle group policy deployments in Windows desktop environment and exhibit relevant skills and knowledge if not experience
  • The candidate needs to have good understanding and experience with application life cycle (SDLC model)
  • Good understanding of ITIL processes which include Change, Request, Incident and Problem management.
  • Need understanding and awareness of Agile ways of handling deployments in Windows desktop environment.
  • IT administration experience on desktop troubleshooting can be a value add. Scripting and automation experience is useful to have.
