Job Description

The L1 Engineer will be responsible for CMES hardware deployment, installation, configuration, and providing first-level end user support. The role involves on-site coordination, issue resolution, and ensuring smooth IT operations for end users as per defined SLAs.

Key Responsibilities



Hardware Deployment & CMES Support



Deployment, installation, and replacement of CMES hardware at end-user locations Asset tagging, inventory updates, and documentation of deployed hardware Coordination with internal teams and vendors for hardware-related activities Basic troubleshooting of hardware issues and CMES devices Escalation of unresolved issues to L2/L3 teams with proper logs and details

End User Support (L1)



Provide first-level technical support to end users (desktop, laptop, peripherals) Installation and configuration of OS, standard applications, and patches Troubleshooting issues related to: Desktop / Laptop Printers, scanners, barcode readers Network connectivity (LAN/Wi-Fi) Outlook, MS Office, and basic application issues User account support (password reset, access issues) as per process Remote and on-site support as required

Incident & Service Management



Log, track, and update tickets in the ticketing tool Ensure timely resolution within SLA/TAT Regular follow-ups with users and internal teams Provide daily/weekly status updates to the reporting manager

Skills & Competencies



Good understanding of desktop hardware and peripherals Basic knowledge of Windows OS installation and troubleshooting Basic networking concepts (IP, DNS, ping, LAN/Wi-Fi) Customer-focused attitude with good communication skills Ability to work in shifts and on-site environments Willingness to travel between sites if required

Educational Qualification



Diploma / Graduate in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or equivalent

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)



Experience in CMES or similar hardware deployment projects Knowledge of ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Freshdesk, Jira, etc.) Basic exposure to ITIL processes

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
