Candidate profile (text) - Default language You are someone who understands how the design of a retail-led built environment creates value in our lives. You are able to collect and understand a lot of different information and input, identify the main factors, and form a design direction to communicate, execute, review and adjust.
You bond well with people and understand different cultures and environments, able to adjust yourself according to the situation.

You are creative by nature, and always looking to use your creativity to improve a product, experience, or process. You can sell your ideas with enthusiasm and build energy around you. You are honest, fact-based, focused on the priorities, decisive, and dedicated.
For this role, we are looking for a leader, an influencer, and someone to create and protect good design solutions.

To succeed in this role, you need to have experience in retail and/or shopping center developments.

What you'll need to have:

University degree in Architecture or in a building design-related field.
Minimum 10 years full cycle experience with Shopping center developments and/or management with an international real estate investor/developer.
Minimum 5 years in a management position leading a design team, with proven leadership skills and track record.
Experience and knowledge of all building design stages, including construction and handover.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketch-up, Photoshop, and Microsoft office packages.
You are fluent in the English language (both spoken and written).

Key responsibilities (text) As Design Manager, you will ensure that Ingka Centre's ambitions and objectives in design quality, integrity, program, and cost are implemented, monitored, and managed in the project through all design stages.

You will have many different tasks, some of them are:

Responsible for the design of multiple projects across different countries ranging in size from small refurbishments to large new builds.
Ideas generation, visual communication, the scope of work development, consultant procurement, internal stakeholder alignment, and design team management.
Project presentations, assessing the quality of work, forming a design direction, and executing it.
The position will be based in Noida.

As a Design Manager at Ingka Centres, you will be a part of the Expansion & Development Function. The purpose of the Expansion & Development function is to generate revenue and growth of new and current Meeting Places while also collaborating with IKEA Retail, the Ingka Group, and external contractors with the goal of delivering the needs of customers and local communities within the locations they operate.
