Its Zetwerk. : Degree in civil/Chemical (structural.) engineering PG (essential). 10-12 years of work experience in a Hydraulics and environmental solutions and understanding of structural designs along with specifically in water supply and irrigation projects (essential). Professionally registered with the Institute of structural engineers. Advanced knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations. Sound understanding of water supply, WTP, STP and irrigation projects process and design philosophy. Ability to liaise with professionals from other disciplines. Three-dimensional conceptual skills. Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and team managmant for multiple parallel assignment. Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills. Ability to meet deadlines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and Tech skills. Perfect knowledge of AutoCAD, Water Gem, Epanet and Staad other water supply related software. Good analytical skills and proactive problem-solver. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal in Dari Pashto and English). On site Execution Experience is preferred. Sound knowledge of IS codes and BS codes along with command on CEEPHO manual. Having good skills in report writing Sharp Drawings skills Structure design Duties & Responsibilities The Design Engineer (water supply) will be responsible for designing of water supply projects. From concept to GADs and working Documents The incumbent will plan and coordinate all phases of projects designs from conceptualization and requirements determination through planning design and final execution. Design urban water supply and sewer system. Design water distribution systems for potable or non-potable water. Provide technical support on water resource or treatment issues to government agencies. Prepare detailed design calculation specification BoQs and drawings for packages of water supply project. Design domestic or industrial water supply system including advanced facilities pumping systems pumping stations pipelines reservoirs and control buildings. Plan and coordinate all phases of projects designs from conceptualization and requirements determination through planning design and final execution. Perform hydraulic analyses of water supply systems or water distribution networks to model flow characteristics test for pressure losses or to identify opportunities to mitigate risks and improve operational efficiency. Participate in conducting engineering surveys for the design and construction of intakes collection chamber valve chamber transmission pipes distribution pipes tap stands stream crossings reservoirs overhead tanks location of ground water wells and water retaining structures. Facilitate the drawing of community maps to fix the location of tap stands latrines pipe layout and other ancillary works. Any other tasks that will be given by the competent authority.
