Design Director

The role

The Design Director will explore and conceptualize design options and solutions that maintain Landor & Fitch\'s vision and creative beliefs- \'great ideas expertly and beautifully crafted and delivered with rigor and flair\'. You will work either independently or in conjunction with Executive and Creative Directors, fellow Senior Designers and Designers, evaluate design options, develop and push to find \'big ideas\' based on design strategy and the creative brief. You will develop straightforward design approaches to complex design challenges across packaging, brand development, corporate identity, mobile, digital and user experience design projects.

What we\'re looking for

A Design Director, who over the last 10 years, has flawlessly designed agile brands. He/She has at least 10 years of broad creative and management experience (required) with a global sophistication and the ability to adapt to different cultures. You are a strategic thinker, understand branding and love it when you really understand a client\'s business and arrive at insights that solve their challenges via their brand. You are a team player; understand team interaction and roles of team members. You perform well in a team environment and foster communication and cohesion between internal teams and functions. You have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Graphic design, communication, design, fine arts, or a related field.
