What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:


This position is a part of SMC_Business Analytics & Pricing CoE responsible for Price Approval, Price reporting, Price maintenance activities and enabling a price driven solution to the businesses (Sales organization, Product line Managers, Pricing Managers and senior leadership team)
The position will have team management responsibilities for the day-to-day activities and guidance of their team members. Also sets targets, implement guidelines, and assist with any issues the employees may have.
Drive the development and deployment of advanced analytics to discover growth opportunities, leads engagement with enterprise IT for systems deployment and enables fast tracking of analytics deployment that contribute to revenue growth for the Sectors.
\'- Lead execution of projects of strategic importance in the areas of Price Management.
  • Build relationships with Product Line managers, Pricing Manager, Finance teams & sales leaders in pricing processes that builds pricing sophistication and overall profitability.
  • Partner with the business, sales and pricing team to support pricing development studies aimed to improve pricing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support the development of pricing strategies by seeking most recent data and updating files and analyses of competitive landscape for review with senior leadership
  • Setting price governance with the Business divisions (BU) and internal team-members
  • Anticipate business needs and serve up opportunities that will significantly improve top line growth, margin expansion, and bottom line improvement.
  • Create visibility of transactional data in appropriate forms to facilitate strategic initiatives. Data includes sales, cost, rebate, price, market share; competition benchmarks etc. and may be extracted from multiple ERP systems and/or data warehouse (OBIEE, SAP, Vista, etc.).
  • Provide ongoing support to various functions with the systematic use of both historical and predictive data to make informed pricing decisions.
  • Maintain tools, reporting & scorecards to track key metrics and value captured from pricing activities.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance current processes to reduce risk through effective use of price analytics.


Qualifications:


Graduate in Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics. MBA degree or equivalent is (Marketing or Finance) preferred
6-8 years of experience \xe2\x80\x93 manufacturing industry exposure preferred

Skills:



- MS \xe2\x80\x93 Office suite, should be very proficient with MS- Excel
  • Experience of working on tools like OBIEE, SAP, CPQ is an added advantage.
  • Strong project-management skills; ability to manage multiple high-profile analytics projects.
  • Good organizational and time management skills, strong analytical skills and the inter-personal skills to interact with all levels of management.
  • Working knowledge and implementation of Process Improvement tools and methodologies across businesses.
  • Demonstrate the capability to build and maintain productive relationships at all level with key internal clients including business, operations and colleagues
  • Highly motivated individual with excellent oral and written communication skills.
