Deputy Manager - SOX Compliance - International BPO

Profile : Deputy Manager - SOX Compliance

Job Location : Mumbai

RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Responsible for performing risk assessment, identifying mitigating controls, performing test of design efficiency and test of operating effectiveness for the processes assigned

- Meet timelines for the deliverables

- Reviewing the work of staff for assigned processes

- Knowledge of accounting standards, preferably IFRS and its application / interpretation

- Maintain deficiency tracker and discuss the same with the process owners on a monthly basis

- Responsible for ensuring that any changes to policies / procedures / applications for the allocated processes are assessed for risk and pragmatic controls are recommended and implemented

- Liaise with external auditors to co-ordinate and discuss audit assignments, issues and audit observations
