Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
The Product Management function develops the Global product strategy The cand idate will be responsible for planning the Tractor portfolio globally for Mahindra. Identify Product and portfolio Gaps. Create product proposals through Consumer, Market, application, competition, new technology Understand ing. Project Hand ling :as per the MNPD Process. Research and benchmark global sourcesfor advanced technology and recommend adoption of relevant technologies Study new farming practices crop wise, crop wise economics( Valet share), changing crop pattern and its impact on tractor industry. Ensure the organization has a robust product pipeline in line with market needs and future technology requirements for the category managed by him / her. Product Planning involvement by effective product portfolio analysis and requirements buildup through technical product development strategy. Prioritize on new product introduction initiatives to ensure that Mahindra\'s product portfolio gaps are closed in the minimum time. Enhance understand ing about application -Implements ( crop wise/ area wise) and create a data master ( Real world usage) for future use. Responsible for product field trials with respect to competition products to understand product performance Collate data for better understand ing of product performance. Serve as a technical expert for performance validation and application for sales team and dealers. Provide ownership for establishing and documenting all product performance validation processes related to assigned tasks. Responsible for coordinating, developing, executing and tracking of rigorous and comprehensive product verification and validation across all brand s and markets. Carry customer in sighting caigns in order to get information on practices vs perception benefits, understand feature and importance of feature to customer, acquire in-depth understand ing about new applications/ implements
