Our Multi-modal Manufacturing Facility (MMF) in Pune plays a crucial role in manufacturing key aerospace components, supporting not only India's defense and commercial sectors but also global aviation supply chains. Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for sheet metal forming, fabrication, machining, NDT, chemical coatings, and heat treatment to ensure high-quality precision products.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards, including AS9100, AS9102, APQP, PPAP, and NadCap requirements.
  • Utilize CAD software such as Unigraphics and AutoCAD to design and modify tools, fixtures, and manufacturing layouts.
  • Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to ensure precise and accurate product specifications.
  • Lead and manage New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from concept through production, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, quality, and production, to resolve technical issues and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address production and quality issues.
  • Develop and maintain standard work instructions and process documentation.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Monitor and deliver on business KPIs and metrics related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC).
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technologies and processes.
Ideal Candidate:
Experience into sheet metal forming, fabrication, machining, NDT, chemical coatings, and heat treatment
to ensure high-quality precision products. Hands on experience into Auto CAD & Unigraphics.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
6 to 12 years of experience in manufacturing engineering with 3 years minimum in the aerospace industry.
In-depth knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, APQP, PPAP, and NadCap processes.
Proficiency in CAD software, including Unigraphics and AutoCAD.
Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Expertise in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Six Sigma certification or equivalent.
Experience in NPI Project Management
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects to ensure timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints
