To leverage on this and to expand into the northern & eastern geographies of India, Yara acquired Tata Chemicals\' 1.2 MN MT Urea plant in UP, Northern India. With this acquisition Yara India\'s scale of operation has grown significantly.Role & Responsibilities

• Evaluate technical documentation and client requirements.
• Oversee subcontracted discipline engineering documents.
• Review P&IDs and compile Instrument Index, IO List, JB Schedule, and Cable Schedule.
• Define engineering specifications.
• Develop technical documentation for instrumentation and system requisitions, and conduct technical evaluations.
• Offer technical support to project teams.
• Optimize instrument systems to minimize costs while meeting performance standards.
• Draft Specification sheets for Pressure, Temperature, Level, and Flow Transmitters.
• Assess and draft Specification sheets for control Valves.
• Review Instrument Data sheets and provide feedback.
• Formulate specifications for instruments, systems (DCS, ESD, F&G), and installations.
• Conduct functional analysis for control, ESD, and F&G systems.
• Execute instrument detail design on P&IDs.
• Create instrument data sheets and loop diagrams.
• Review existing control strategies and contribute to Management of Change (MOC) in P&IDs.
• Develop Instrumentation Hook Ups.
• Generate instrument material take-off lists.
• Carry out detailed engineering activities including layouts, routings, and supports.
• Perform Factory Acceptance Tests (F.A.T) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).

Compliance Related

• Ensuring compliance to all statutory requirements for Projects and Modifications carried out by the dept.
• Ensure compliance of MOU and SPL
• Ensure compliance of the non-conformities reported in internal audits (financial)

Coordinating

• Responsible for getting engineering support for various instrumentation activities as well as new installations/ constructions.
• With materials department for status of the purchase requisition raised.
• With external agencies like vendors, statutory authorities.
• Interaction with other departments for facilitating day to day work.

Other Responsibilities

• Organizing other industrial visit to learn and share best practices.
• Participates and develops various cross functional teams and assign the members from his/her department
• Participate in knowledge sharing exercise and ensure dissemination of tacit and explicit knowledge through proper channel.
• Ensuring housekeeping during, and after any maintenance work done in other departments.
• Responsible for all the safety and EHS responsibilities listed in ISO process of the department

Preferred Skills

• Relevant knowledge for plant control includes Boiler, process operation on gas and naphtha having capacity more than 200control loops.
• Knowledge about project planning and execution.
• Hands on experience on DCS (preferably Honeywell Experion), ESDS, Governors, Gas Turbine Control System. Hands on experience on Maintenance of Control Valves, Actuators, Field Instrumentation.
• Experience in QIP tools, ISO 9001: 2000 and business excellence model.
• Excellent knowledge on safety at workplace and SHE management.
• IACP/ internal auditor for ISO
• Aware about maintenance practices, TPM, Quality analysis tool Should be Computer Savvy.
• Good analytical skills.
• Sound industry knowledge

Education & Experience

• Education: Candidate should be B.tech / B.E. - Electronics & Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Control from reputed College/University. Candidate should have scored minimum 60% in 10th,12th & in B.Tech.
• Experience: Candidate Should have 5 to 8 years of Experience. Should have exposure in project planning, installation and commissioning with contractor or consultant.
