: This position is responsible for Instrumentation Design & Project Engineer- (Design/ Pre-Bid Engineering /Project Engineering/ Coordination/Planning) in sectors of Minerals & Metals, Chemicals, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical. Key Responsibilities Areas: Review of instrumentation deliverables for executing Detailed Engineering and construction activities Responsible for the design and approval of all Instrument work on assigned projects and responsible for preparation and approval of project related standards / specifications. Prepares the technical documentation for instrumentation and systems requisitions and performs the technical evaluations.
Optimizes instrument systems ensuring minimal cost and simplification in compliance with the required performance.
Prepares specifications for instruments, systems (DCS, PLC, etc) and installation.
Implements instrument detail design on P&ID\'s.
Prepares instrument data sheets and loop diagrams.
Prepares instrument material take-off.
Implements detail engineering activities (layouts, routings, supports...). Review and approve the process logics as per the project specifications.
Fully understand the Company HSE policy, procedures, regulations, and objectives as they relate to area of responsibility. Ensures that work under control is performed in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
Provide on-site inst. /control engineering consultation during construction, pre-commissioning & commissioning stage. Witness and sign off construction activities as completed, including loop functional checks, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of the new systems. show more
