Mission
The Engineer is in charge of all technical aspects of the proper realization of a project (coordination of Software engineering activities, Commissioning of
System at site, ...), with main objective to achieve contractually agreed scope and performances on time and as per budget. He/she ensures the
implementation within his/her team of Health & Safety, quality and environmental aspects and standards.
Activities
Preparation of Functional Specification and concepts
- Level 2 Software system development for Cold Rolling Mill and Processing
lines
- Ensure Software is developed as per JCIL standards
- Integration and Testing of the Software with Level 1 and Level 2 Automation
system
- Commissioning of Software at sites
- Customer support of software post-commissioning
- Demonstration of Contractual performance figures
- Support to Sales and preparation of technical offer for Level 2 / Reporting
system
Qualifications:
- Graduate in IT/ Computer Science or
- Master's in computer application
Experience:
- 5 to 8 years.
Knowledge and skills:
- Good Knowledge of using tools such as
o Visual Studio
o SQL Developer
o GIT
- Work Experience of programming with RDBMS and PL/SQL,
especially Oracle and Microsoft SQL is must
- Experience in Following Technologies
o C#, .NET Framework (ADO .NET & ASP.NET)
o WPF with MVVM framework, WCF, Database (SQL & Oracle)
o Entity Framework, Database design, Network Configuration
- Web designing, Web Framework i.e. Angular/React, HTML, CSS etc
- Domain Knowledge of Steel making process
- Good Knowledge of Industrial protocol like Profibus, Profinet, OPC,
Socket Programming etc
- Basic knowledge of IOT, AI and modern techniques will be added
advantage.
