Purpose of the role is to understand and own the finance and especially RTR service environment in alignment with internal and external business customers by collaborating and partnering with the wider FinOps team about 20 Local Markets and our Shared Services colleagues and contribute to R2R & Revenue Process related projects and initiatives included in the strategic roadmap, both from accounting expertise functional expertise and project management perspective
The successful candidate will be self-Driven Embrace Change Engage with others proactively across all levels and demonstrate Applied Thinking. The role will work closely with other Communities of Practices Group Reporting Group FP S IT operations and All Local Markets
Key accountabilities and decision ownership
Based on in depth knowledge of the functional area drives process standardisation and process improvements by identifying process and or system demands and implementing respective policies or changes Collaborates with other Community of Practices VOIS teams IT teams external companies and third party vendors for improvements of touch points and enhancements across functional and regional boundaries
Process Performance Management Own the delivery of the roadmap items allocated to the role holder drive delivery and perform ongoing review on process performance including ongoing monitoring of data quality define appropriate reports analysis and interpretation of data to identify improvement opportunities and liaise with both local market and service delivery teams to facilitate performance improvement actions Provide recommendation on appropriate KPI\xe2\x80\x99s for the process. Support the GPL with the production of reports and dashboards related to the key projects and drive individually smaller project independently with efficiency and timeliness
Process Compliance: Follow up on identified control and audit risks as well as review and propose changes to relevant policies to reflect Vodafone Way principles and tax, legal statutory requirements. Deliver control review activities in accordance with SOX regulations and Vodafone Group policies
Identify and implement process improvements
Analyse business needs processes and develop efficient solutions
Translate business needs into qualitative and quantitative measures to tackle crisis
Manage inter market relations to fulfil MEC YEC
Promote the success factors in ways of working Core competencies knowledge and experience
Strong communication skills written oral and presentation to summarise and explain complex issues to a variety of audiences including senior stakeholders
Self motivated to provide timely and good quality services for stakeholders ad hoc requests whilst managing priorities to ensure the completion of other longer term deliverables
Business acumen and ability to identify varied business problems and suggest solutions even out of the box
Data Analytics and Reporting experience
Working in virtual multi-national environment
Proven experience with international accounting standards IFRS and telecommunications industry
Experience with new accounting standards
IFRS15 IFRS16 IFRS9
Significant knowledge about SOx controlsMust have technical professional qualifications:
Accounting Finance University Degree with 6 8 years business experience
Accounting qualification CPA ACCA CA
Preferred big 4 experience
In depth SAP and SAP RAR system knowledge
Excellent Communication and presentation skills
Efficiencies delivered within the process
KPI Performance of the Process
