Position Summary with Job Responsibilities

Position Summary:
Responsibility of this role is for Integration of Battery Electric and Fuel Cell Electric vehicle on MHCV platform with its all aggregates (Digital build of vehicle) to meet the vehicle functionality within specified targets & timeline.

Job roles & responsibilities:

• Contribution to Product Planning.

1.Perform critical path activities identification, prepare plan risk mitigation and timely resolution & escalation of unresolved critical issues at the right time.
2.Review the prototype plan and sign off the specification with all the stakeholders (COCs, Suppliers, CAE, Proto team, and Manufacturing team) in order to meet validation criteria.
3.To generate the project documents and interact with program management and Marketing for specification sign-off

• Contribution to Product Release Management:

1.To analyse Feature list against the Product scope document & to co-ordinate between PPM & various agencies to get it finalize based on manufacturing & performance feasibility.
2.To create VC no. & its Tech. specification in PLM system.
3.Co-ordinate with COC's for TPL creation & release of TPL's in PLM system.
4.BOM checking & DML/TPL releases for various aggregates.
5.VC release in PLM system.
6.Participate in Homologation and interaction with government agencies.
7.Facilitate team for timely completion of IDT & ODT to prevent changes after ESO.
8.Drive aggregate commonality for platform products through COCs and TVM group.
9.Proficient in Computer aided analytical tools to assist in a faster, better and cost effective design

• Contribution to Product Quality

1.Support CVBU team in addressing quality issues resolution as per targets.
2.Drive product quality & customer satisfaction by ensuring IPTV (Incidences per thousand vehicles) / EPV (Expenses per vehicle) targets are met for the project.

• Contribution to Product Sustenance

1.Improve profitability of the BU by driving VAVE within CV Engg.
2.Proficient in Computer aided analytical tools to assist in a faster, better and cost effective design

Education

Degree in Engineering in Mechanical

Work Experience

Years of Experience-12 to 15yrs

Preferred Industry:Automobile OEM

Skill Sets required to perform the role :

TECHNICAL

• Knowledge base of vehicle & aggregates
• Basic Electrical Architecture know-how and system interactions
• Experience on digital integration, CAE & Simulations
• Knowledge of PLM, BOM, VC release system

CMVR, homologation and standards knowledge
