POSITION: DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER /GENERAL MANAGER - MODULAR SWITCHES, PAN INDIA POSITION PURPOSE: To make Organisation Modular Switches Division as the leading brand Pan India. Consolidate existing markets. Simultaneously create new market by doing all market development & business development activities. Ensure the team follows the processes of the Company in their daily working in letter & spirit Ensure teams works on the ground and they are monitored, guided and coached so that teams of all branches surpasses the desired results. Drive revenue generation as per plan - taking the business to the next level. JOB PROFILE: Head Market development, business development & sales operations in PAN India for Modular Switches. Deliberate with Management the innovative ideas to gain major market share & goodwill and implement the decisions on ground. Ensure achievement of business goals as set by driving high performance culture through robust goal setting, periodic reviews and feedback. Developing the existing network Retail as well as Project business existence. Formulating and implement annual business plans / strategies including operating plans, operational requirements, organizational structure, staffing and budgets that support the strategic plan for maximizing profitability & revenue generation. Analyse market trends and customer needs to identify new business development opportunities and chalking out measures / promotional activities for countering competition. Enhancement in Brand visibility with seamless availability as well as proper VM across the potential channel. Monitor and control branch sales operations of the region and restrict expenditure as budgeted for the year. Ensure timely receipt of payments from the market from Team. Brand promotions - Aligning with all key specifiers and conducting brand building events. Manage a team of high potential sales talent, introduce strong sales processes, support the development of sales team, engage them with customers and partners at various levels, motivate the sales team, resolve conflicts, remove barriers and provide solution. Do fortnightly or as required reviews with Team Leaders to ensure achievement of monthly objectives Sales / Activities / Monthly priorities and guiding the teams to do all the needful. FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Experience of doing market development and growth. Experience of market creation rather than product selling. Experience of developing dealers rather than dumping material. Experience on selling on price set by company by pitching value being provided by our Brand rather than by giving discounts. Experience in setting goals and doing reviews of the team & filling the gaps. Experience in Retail segment. PERSONALITY TRAITS: Leadership skills. Decision Making skills. Convincing Skills.
