Deputy General Manager Engineering
Job Description
Primary Position Objectives. Ensuring Equipment availability and reliability to meet Business demand Reliable Electric supply across Terminal, Township and CFS Cost Optimization Enhanced customer experience Safe Operations Statutory compliances People Leadership Key Responsibilities Achieve Availability, Reliability, OEE and MMBF as per the department KPI. Planning and execution of Capex projects and refurbishments of Equipments as required. Ensure the quality of Electrical infrastructure facility such as Switch yard, Substations & DG, General Electrical, Fire detection system etc. at Terminal, CFS & Township. Monitor, Assess and Process warranty claims on equipment. Liaise with external suppliers, service providers and OEM. Ensure uninterrupted power supply by maintaining DG & other electrical infra structure at Terminal, CFS & Township. Maintain Effective Co-ordination with Power supply providers- MUPL & PGVCL. Commissioning of new equipment/ Refurbishment of old equipment and Innovations. Engineering budget preparation. Control R&M cost of Engineering within the approved budget & with cost optimization.
