Purpose:
This is a backfill request for Vijay Gupta, he has left the company. This role acts as the Network and Security Technical Lead for AMESA/APAC regions. Some of the core functions include oversight of the network, security, WAN/LAN, audit, network access, and vendor / MSP support.
This role requires a strong technical leader that who is accountable for the are responsible for the AMESA / APAC regional operations team. They are in charge of all maintenance, incident and event management, and repair activities that impact the network and the associated services.
Accountabilities:

• Vendor Management - MSP / Vendor Management - Making Decisions
• Key Performance Indicators - Maintaining SLA's and performance levels - Making Decisions
• Initiative: Displaying initiative in the absence of management by taking action and accepting responsibility, ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision, having the ability to cover other shift responsibilities in the absence of team members.- Making Decisions
• Diagnose highly complex problems and design long term fixes. - Making Decisions
• Propose best operational practices and processes to customers, internal teams and senior management teams. - Making Decisions
• Ensure proper follow up to highly complex fixes to include but are not limited to proposed changes in existing network design and or architectures, best processes for new project and initiatives.- Making Decisions
• Must take lead for any new network platforms introduced into production environments and determine all operational validations tests and requirements are met.- Making Decisions

Qualifications/Requirements

Years of experience:
10-15 Years
Mandatory Technical Skills:
Technology Expertise: Cisco / SDWAN, Cloud Computing: Azure and/or AWS, Network Routing Protocols, and NextGen Architecture

• At least Five years of detailed hands-on troubleshooting of complex large scale
• Advanced knowledge of the following routing protocols: RIP, OSPF, BGP, SNMP, HSRP, IPv6.
• Advanced understanding of ACLs, prefix lists, firewalls and other security methods and best practices.
• Advanced Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, IP Provisioning and IP Management
• Knowledge of QoS .
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network related problems escalated from other organizations within the company.
• Define operational support requirements for new network related technologies and products.
• Ability to review and create technical changes for accuracy and recommend changes to support operational guidelines
