1. Support the Chef de Partie in the preparation and presentation of dishes, following standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
2. Oversee the preparation of ingredients, ensuring that everything is prepped and ready for cooking according to the kitchen's needs.
3. Assist in managing junior staff, delegating tasks and ensuring that they follow kitchen protocols and guidelines.
4. Ensure that your section of the kitchen is kept clean and organized, with proper food storage and safety procedures in place.
5. Contribute to menu ideas and recipe adjustments during team discussions and kitchen meetings.
6. Carry out additional responsibilities as requested by the Chef de Partie or other senior kitchen staff.
