The Demi Chef de Partie - Continental is responsible for assisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of Continental cuisine dishes. The role ensures food quality, hygiene standards, and smooth kitchen operations while supporting senior chefs.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing and cooking Continental dishes as per standard recipes
Support the Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations
Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation
Maintain food quality, freshness, and proper storage
Follow all food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP, FSSAI)
Maintain cleanliness of workstations and kitchen equipment
Assist in stock control, FIFO, and minimizing food wastage
Coordinate with team members for smooth service operations
Handle basic prep work, sauces, grills, pastas, and continental mains
Follow instructions and contribute positively to team workflow
Required Skills & Competencies:
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Continental cuisine
Understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good teamwork and communication skills
Time management and multitasking ability
Willingness to learn and grow within the culinary team
Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts (preferred)
1-3 years of experience in Continental kitchen operations
Experience in hotels, cafes, QSRs, or fine-casual dining preferred
Working Conditions:
Rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays
Standing for long hours
High-pressure kitchen environment

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
