Danfoss Power Solution, Industrial Division is looking for highly analytical and strategic-minded individual to join our team as a Demand Planner . As a Demand Planner , you will play a crucial role in developing and executing our demand planning strategies across three BUs and regions. Your primary responsibility will be to analyse market trends, historical data, and customer insights to accurately forecast demand for our products worldwide. By collaborating closely with sales, marketing, product managers, finance, and our central team, you will contribute to optimizing inventory levels, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving business growth. Job Responsibilities Collaborate and gather input from various sources, including Account Managers, Marketing, Factories, Product Managers, and Finance. Review historical sales trends and order intake data as input for forecast. Analyse and determine the unconstrained forecast. Prepare for and facilitate consensus with Regional Sales Managers Develop and maintain supporting tools (Excel, Power BI) Own and drive the monthly demand planning process ensuring high quality analysis of inputs and providing recommendations to the business leadership. Lead the monthly Demand Planning sign-off meeting with Sales Director. Background & Skills Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a Demand Planning or S&OP team, working with different data levels of aggregation and short/mid/long-term demand planning horizon. Bachelor\'s Degree from an accredited institution required, and supply chain certification (APICS) will be a plus. Required experience in advanced Excel and Power BI, with a preference for knowledge in SQL, R, and Python. Highly skilled communicator with the ability to tailor your message to and work with colleagues at all levels. Able to stand your ground and justify your point of view based on analyses. Very good understanding and working knowledge of statistics/econometrics and specifically statistical forecast models. Excellent skills within data analysis and decision-making. Pro-active mindset and a \'can do\' attitude to ensure things are acted upon in our fast-paced environment. Experience with and ability to navigate a large and complex matrix organization. Fluent English language skills. Experience working globally, including collaborating with colleagues in different time zones and across various geographical locations.
