Role : PL-SQL Developer - L4

Location : Mumbai

Who are we looking for?

A PL-SQL Developer to manage a critical project for one of our biggest client in banking domain. The Individual should be passionate about technology, experienced in developing and managing cutting edge technology applications.

Technical Skills:

? Having 3-6 years of IT experience as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer, involved in Requirement Gathering, Analysis, Design, Development, Unit Testing, Production Deployment and Support.

? . Understanding and collecting requirements from Business user or Business Analyst and convert the requirement into Technical complex queries using SQL and PL SQL.

? . Use different strategies of database development to meet the client functional requirement.

? . Solid Experience of creating PL/SQL Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views, materialized views and Exception handling for retrieving, manipulating, checking and migrating complex data sets in Oracle.

? . Experience in Data migration using import and export utility.

? . Ability to write complex SQL queries for reporting purpose.

? . Customizing the application using PL SQL techniques.

? . Experience in PL/SQL Tables, Cursors to process huge volumes of data and bulk collect for mass update as performance improvement process.

? . Responsible for performance tuning activities in the project.

? . Having good experience on Client Interaction and Presentation Skills.

? . Team player, Good time-management skills, problem-solving skills, Great interpersonal and communication skills

? . Can assist in developing and implementing new technologies.

? Ensure the data quality and integrity in databases, prepare documentations for database applications.

? Manage source code (check-in/check-out), versioning, impact analysis, and code testing.

? Provides technical support to application development teams.

? Assists with impact analysis of any changes made to the database objects.

? Assists in creating test data for database application.

? Basic knowledge of Database Administration.

? Knowledge of Ms-Office.

Process Skills:

? Understanding the Business requirement from the client and developing database objects in line with the requirement.

? Preparing and sharing the reconciled periodic reports to Business department

? Generating and sharing adhoc reports to client

? Write a clean and sustainable code that can be used in the future

? Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions

? Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance

? Talk with onsite team to understand their needs and experiences

? Design interfaces to improve user experience

? Stay up to date with new technology and best practices

? Performing merger activities

? Performance Tuning - Tune existing SQL Queries or PL/SQL code for better performance with the help of application developers.

? Unit Testing, Code Migration to higher environments.

? Prepare documentations for database objects.

? Co-ordination with Business department and other vendors.

? Scheduling and monitoring the job.

? Spooling the data in different format(csv/pdf)

Behavioral Skills :

? Resolve technical issues of projects and Explore alternate designs

? Participates as a team member and fosters teamwork by inter-group coordination within the modules of the project.

? Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction

? Train and coach members of project groups to ensure effective knowledge management activity.
