Do you like working with multi-functional groups to help initiate data products from new or unfamiliar content types, including support for content expansion, content retention, workflow scaling, non-standard workflow design and implementation Would you like to manage the diverse portfolio of a Delivery Specialist About our Team The Partner Gateway team is responsible for coordinating a diverse spectrum of content, data, workflow, and systems experts to initialise and eventually hand over to BAU, data products that meet the requirements of our business partners and delight our customers with high quality, insightful and unique data. About the Role The Delivery Specialist will be supporting the delivery of Research Data Platform outcomes by leveraging your expertise in data products & schemas, data analytics, solution design, process design, implementation and improvement, to implement scalable Data Operations processes, drive business growth, and ensure customer delight. Responsibilities Leverage your expertise in data analytics and solution design to analyse existing processes and identify areas for improvement. Implement efficient, scalable workflow solutions that, drive business growth, and delight our customer. Coordinate and collaborate with multifunctional teams across various domains to ensure seamless process implementation and execution. Ensure the highest standard of production outputs by applying data analytics expertise and aligning with capability owners in the end-to-end process. Foster a collaborative and inclusive culture, promoting effective communication, knowledge sharing, and cross-functional cooperation. Continuously explore novel approaches, tools, and technologies to improve data processing, validation, and dissemination. Incorporate best practices and industry trends in data analytics and solution design to drive continuous improvement and optimization. Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including process maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions. Manage hand over to business as usual. Requirements Be fluent in English (oral and written) and have excellent all-round communication skills Process Analysis and Design: Ability to assess existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and design efficient and effective processes that drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Data Analytics: Proficiency in utilizing data analytics techniques and tools to extract insights from datasets and data products, measure process performance, and identify opportunities for optimization and innovation. Databricks experience or similar an advantage. Solution Design and Innovation: Skill in designing innovative and practical solutions that address process gaps, enhance operational performance, and leverage emerging technologies and industry best practices. Project Management: Capability to plan, coordinate, and manage projects and initiatives related to process improvement, ensuring timely delivery, effective resource allocation, and alignment with business objectives. Stakeholder Management: Ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at various levels, including senior management, cross-functional teams, and external partners, to gather requirements, manage expectations, and drive successful implementation of process changes. Degree level education in a Scientific Discipline and/or Agile/Prince project management skills an advantage Proven ability to manage complex implementations across business and operational segments. Pedigree of cross-functional, agile team management to deliver on specified goals.
