Job Summary

Role Description

  • Developing scripts to load new application data files into EDM platform.
  • Able to work independently, self enabled & motivated personality.
  • Discuss with various stake holders and get all the required for this day today activities.
  • Escalate for tasks that are show stopper or blocker to meet the timeline.
Core Technical Skills required
  • Strong Unix / Linux Shell scripting experience.
  • Work experience on Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Scala, Nifi.
  • 12+ years of work experience in Hadoop eco system.
  • Knowledge on Data Warehousing.
  • Prior knowledge on any query writing skills.
  • Hands on Control-M scheduling tool & Unix scripting.
  • Good Analytical Skill.
  • Commanding Communication skills.
  • Flexible to travel.
  • Adaptive to the aggressive timelines delivery mode.
Non-Technical Skills required
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Curious to learn new technologies.
  • Good communication skills to be able to understand requirements and articulate solutions/feedbacks
Responsibilities

Strategy
  • Development of Application Framework and Reusable components
Business
  • Ensure Delivery cycles are run as per the quality processes, and under the governance structure agreed with all stake-holders.
Processes
  • Follow the Organisation\xe2\x80\x99s QA process, standards & Controls
  • Ensure to work closely with the delivery functions and comply with testing, configuration and release management processes for the projects responsible
People & Talent
  • Develop skills set of the team on automation tools & utilities consistently
Risk Management
  • Highlight risks proactively to project stakeholders, work collaboratively with them to mitigate any project risks, to resolve any critical issues and try to bring the project on track
Governance
  • Ensure Delivery cycles are run as per the quality processes, and under the governance structure agreed with all stake-holders.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the

Other Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day activities and provide timely resolution of the issues
  • All artefacts prepared by self meets the standards & process requirements
  • Provide inputs to management to enhance the quality of deliverables, productivity improvement and thereby reduce the delivery window/timelines
  • Ensure documentation of software product defects and track it to closure
  • No Defects leakage to UAT & Production
  • Adhere to the company\xe2\x80\x99s Compliance requirements & Policy standards
Our Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information
