Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Pickup & Delivery

Safely pick up and deliver packages, food, or goods to customers.

Ensure timely delivery as per assigned routes and schedules.

Verify the recipient and collect signatures when required.

2. Vehicle Maintenance

Keep the delivery vehicle clean and well-maintained.

Check fuel, brakes, tires, and other basic parts regularly.

Report any issues or repairs needed.

3. Order Handling

Handle items carefully to prevent damage.

Check and verify items before loading and unloading.

Ensure correct order delivery.

4. Route Planning

Plan efficient routes to minimize travel time.

Use GPS or maps to find delivery locations.

Handle traffic and road conditions smartly.

5. Payment Handling (if required)

Collect cash or card payments from customers.

Give receipts and maintain proper records.

6. Customer Interaction

Be polite and professional with customers.

Answer basic queries and provide excellent service.

7. Reporting

Update delivery status using mobile apps or delivery systems.

Report delays, delivery issues, or customer complaints.

8. Compliance & Safety

Follow traffic rules and company safety guidelines.

Ensure accurate documentation (delivery slips, route sheets).
