Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Pickup and Delivery:

Collect parcels, packages, or food orders from the warehouse, store, or restaurant.

Deliver items safely and on time to the customer's location.

2. Route Planning:

Plan the most efficient route to ensure timely deliveries.

Use GPS or delivery apps for navigation.

3. Package Handling:

Handle all items carefully to prevent damage or loss.

Verify the accuracy of the delivery item and address before dispatch.

4. Customer Interaction:

Greet customers politely and ensure a positive delivery experience.

Collect payment (if applicable) and obtain customer signatures.

5. Record Keeping:

Maintain delivery logs, receipts, and reports accurately.

Update order status in the delivery app or system.

6. Vehicle Maintenance:

Keep the delivery vehicle (bike, scooter, van, etc.) clean and in good condition.

Report any maintenance issues to the supervisor.

7. Compliance and Safety:

Follow all traffic rules and safety regulations.

Ensure the secure transport of items during delivery.

8. Communication:

Coordinate with dispatch or the warehouse team for instructions.

Inform customers or managers about any delivery delays or issues.
