Company: Volvo Construction Equipment Organization: Sales and Marketing - Region India Location: Bangalore, India Function / Department: Productivity & Retail Development Position Title: Dealer Process Development Manager Reports To: First line manager: Head of Channel Development Job Summary: The main objectives for the role will be to identify and implement process efficiencies to continuously achieve operational excellence across Region India Dealer Sales and Service operations. Responsible for smooth functioning of Dealer Management system across all dealerships. Lead the dealer digitization journey. Responsible for overall management of dealer sales and service process development. Identify the key projects to improve the development areas at the dealerships. Responsible for implementation of various projects across all Region India dealers as per agreed schedule and roll out plan. To steer the ongoing projects and ensure maximum utilization of the system and derive business improvement areas . Utilization of dealer dashboards to improve Productivity of Salesmen/Service engineers. Spearhead the Sales CRM App development and utilization. Dealer score card improvements and regular reviews across all dealerships. Monitor and evaluate dealership service processes, analyze the possibility to improve the processes, develop more reliable and effective dealer operations. Promote the use of the latest/most effective quality and lean methodologies for development and improvement of dealer standard operating processes. Roll out Dealer Operating standards (Retail for tomorrow) across all dealerships and monitor/review progress. Provide necessary expertise in the use of necessary tools / methodologies to help project team develop efficient and effective countermeasures. Manages the interface with supplier to develop multi-media course material. Frequently collaborate and effectively interact with a variety of stakeholder such as functional peer group managers (sales & marketing, parts & logistic IT and finance). Provide support and direction to related teams to drive understanding of expectations of our dealers and customers. Ensure process & system owners and functional leaders in dealer and cross functional organizations within Volvo CE Region India, are provided the business support required to develop and to implement process. Forums : 1. External: Dealerships /Vendors Internal : Parts and Uptime, Sales, Marcom, Finance and IT team, Global Dealer Development CoC 1. Education/Professional Qualifications /experience required for the position: Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering. Minimum of 5 years of sales and service process management in the construction Equipment/automobile /similar industries. A good understanding of the industry and how a dealership operates required. Experience of managing IT projects would be an added advantage. Proven ability in project management - keeping several projects moving at once. Ability to identify and implement process efficiencies. Ability to solve problems and deal with complexity. 2.Additional Important Requirements: Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information effectively to dealerships and management.
