Prepare, marinate, and cook tandoor items such as kebabs, rotis, naans, and other Indian breads.
Ensure all dishes are prepared according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
Maintain proper temperature and cleanliness of the tandoor oven.
Check daily mise en place and stock levels to ensure smooth operation.
Assist the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef in planning and organizing kitchen operations.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of food items to maintain freshness and prevent wastage.
Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
Coordinate with service staff to ensure timely delivery of dishes.
Support team members during busy hours and help train commis as required.
Report any equipment malfunction or maintenance requirement to the senior chef immediately.
