Prepare and cook a wide range of continental dishes (e.g., pasta, grilled meats, salads, soups, sauces, etc.).
Ensure food presentation is consistent with the restaurant's standards.
Follow recipes and create new menu items as directed by the Head Chef.
Monitor food stock and place orders when necessary.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times.
Supervise and train junior kitchen staff and commis chefs.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation.
Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of dishes.
Control portion sizes and minimize food waste.
Stay updated on culinary trends, techniques, and ingredients in continental cuisine.
