Assist the Chef de Partie in managing a designated section of the kitchen.
Prepare, cook, and present menu items according to recipe standards and portion controls.
Ensure high quality, consistency, and timely food production.
Supervise and guide Commis I/II/III during preparation and service.
Maintain proper storage, labelling, and rotation of ingredients (FIFO).
Monitor hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures as per HACCP standards.
Check and maintain station cleanliness before, during, and after service.
Assist in daily mis-en-place and ensure readiness for service.
Report equipment issues or shortages to the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
Help maintain food cost by reducing waste and following proper portioning.
