Assist the CDP in preparing and cooking traditional South Indian dishes such as dosa, idli, vada, sambar, chutney, and regional curries.
Ensure that all dishes meet the restaurant's quality, taste, and presentation standards.
Maintain mise-en-place and stock levels for the South Indian section.
Follow standard recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistency.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the work area as per HACCP and food safety standards.
Train and assist Commis in daily operations.
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure quality output.
Control wastage and ensure efficient use of raw materials.
Coordinate with other sections for smooth kitchen operations.
Support in menu planning and introduction of new South Indian dishes.
