Assist the CDP in preparing and cooking authentic Chinese dishes including noodles, fried rice, dim sum, soups, and stir-fried items.
Ensure all food preparation meets the restaurant's quality standards.
Maintain proper mise-en-place for the Chinese section before and during service.
Monitor and maintain hygiene and cleanliness of the section as per HACCP standards.
Support and train Commis staff in basic Chinese cooking techniques.
Control wastage and ensure correct portioning.
Coordinate with the CDP and other kitchen sections for smooth service flow.
Assist in developing new Chinese recipes and menu items when required.
Ensure that all equipment is cleaned and maintained properly.
Uphold safety, sanitation, and grooming standards in the kitchen.
